Today I'm thankful for

my parents.

my family.

good choices.

the not so good choices.

and the people that came along for the ride.

So cute

Kenna got her wisdom teeth out yesterday

Here she is before
(no worries, she put all this on her own facebook so she won't get mad at me for this)

She was HILARIOUS!!! She looked like this most of the night.

When I hugged her goodbye she would not let go. She kinda fell asleep.

Here's a video. :)
Notice she asks for a Margarita on the rocks,
if we want her to sing, and "what is this?" about her own mouth.
Sorry for the sideways view.

can you guess where I'm headed in just a few hours?

Also

I pretty much hated...strongly disliked Twilight. But this? This is awesome!

FML

That's French for F$@# my life. Actually it's English and I'm saying that because I just realized I my cell phone is in the pocket of my sweats. In the pocket of my sweats that I just put in the washer. Thus it is soaking wet. The sim card works still, but the phone is probably junk. Good thing I think my brother has an extra one at home. FML

Also, my roommate just put a batch of that nasty fermented cabbage on the stove. I'm pretty sure it's seeping into my skin. When I die, if they do an autopsy, it will reveal that I died due to Sick-Fermented-Lung-Absorbency. And yes, that is an actual condition of the lungs, don't question me.

I love SNL, have I mentioned that? Well I do. Seth Meyers is my hero

I feel a lot better now. :) Time for bed. NO WORK TOMORROW CAUSE I'M HEADED TO VEGAS!!!

Art...if you like that kinda thing

Just found this gem of an art blog today via Brooke White...via Twitter. :)

Danny Roberts is the man

Other than that I feel like junk...may have mono or swine flu...or both.

Or I may not.

I may have a brain tumor...feels like it the way my head is pounding.

Maybe it's just the fact that I've been wearing my mother's contacts for three weeks and they're SO not my prescription, but are enough that i can drive and stuff.

New contacts are on the way.

I love this one though ----

It is time for the Christmas music

Well actually I like to wait until after Thanksgiving, but in the case of A Fine Frenzy you all know that I will definitely make an exception. They recorded this by the pool at their hotel this afternoon. I love them all!(and yes I practically stalk them) Download their Christmas EP Oh, Blue Christmas on iTunes! Do it now!!!

ALL...THAT...JAAAAAAAAZZ!

I recently watched Chicago for the first time ever. I loved it, I want to watch it again. This is because Chicago is the grown up, scandalous version of Annie (I LOVED Annie). I mean, yeah there is no curly, red-headed orphan (or any orphans for that matter). Instead of orphans there are female inmates that are doing time for killing their husbands. But Roxie Heart (Renee Zellweger) has curly blonde hair so that should count for something. I think Richard Gere is more handsome than Daddy Warbucks, mostly because he has more hair AND a better tap dance scene. Also, Mama (Queen Latifa) is a lot nicer and less sloshed than Miss Hanigan. Plus, no offense Carol Burnett, but I like Queen Latifa's voice better.

Despite the differences both movies are clearly musicals and clearly set in roughly the same time period...give or take a few years. They also both have the underlying theme that in order to get what you want out of life you need to go out there and take it. All they while keep in mind that the sun will come out tomorrow and if it doesn't, you can just shoot the man you were having an affair with, then use your fame to work your way to the top...after getting out of jail and all that jazz.

dear reclusive roommate,

I would really appreciate it if you would stop puking all over the side of the bathtub. I realized that you have some things you are trying to work through and I'm okay with that, I honestly am. But if you're not going to allow us, the bishop, or anyone else to help you can you please try to keep it a little more sanitary? It's becoming a health issue. Also, I should not have to walk next door to use the facilities or try to hold it until I get to work.

While we're at it would you mind doing some of your dishes? I know I don't use them and I know you prefer food from home. But Korean food smells bad BEFORE it's sat in a bowl buried in the bottom of the sink for five days. I realize it's not entirely you, the sisters contribute some as well. I just would really like to allow my mother to come see me sometime, but I don't dare with the state our apartment is in.

Thank you for understanding,
Halee

PS, who keeps dripping crap on the kitchen floor and leaving it there? what are you five? Wipe it up!!!
